Cam

CAM GILMOUR - WRITER

Me in XXVI words
A book reader and a bush walker. I can say the alphabet backwards, and most words forwards. If you don’t like this lot, I have others.

Cam joined our Melbourne team in 2016 and cut his teeth on a massive project for Monash University. It served him well. And since then he’s helped create the brand voice for South32, headed up campaigns for NAB, and taken on every job (and every brand) we throw at him.

Marty

MARTY ZABLOCKI - WRITER

Me in XXVI words
Pens. Paper. Handwriting. Skateboarding. Bikes. Music. Drums. Lyrics. Beatles. Films. Simpsons. Comics. Friends. Family. Wife. Son. Food. Pastries. Science. Art. Design. Nerd. Laughs. Words. Home. 26.

Marty took the long road to becoming a writer. A mixed background means he can recite his tax file number while spinning plates and breathing life into dry, operational procedures. Now, he’s putting that experience to use at XXVI. Well, everything except the bit about plates.

Lisa

LISA WILSON - WRITER

Me in XXVI words
Hardened minimalist. Soft spot for furry, four-legged things (eight legs bad). Believes everything in life is best taken with a pinch of salt, especially potatoes.

Experienced in digital and advertising, Lisa’s worked on brands as yin and yang as sugary sweets and kids’ toothpaste (conscience offsetting is a thing). Now scribbling for XXVI, she loves a great strategy as much
as a great sentence.

Alex

ALEX MENYHART - WRITER

Me in XXVI words

Can write in full and half sentences. Has an I for detail. Enjoys syntactical dad jokes. Neither confirms nor denies winning Eurovision for Norway in 2009.

Alex is a devotee to accurate, lucid writing. Although a relative newcomer to brand voice, he brings diverse experience in publishing, social media and journalism to some of XXVI’s biggest clients – including Jetstar and Australia Post.

Amy

AMY CAMERON - WRITER

Me in XXVI words
A 6’2” yogi with a penchant for sourdough bread baking. I have the world’s highest standards for coffee, but couldn’t make one to save my life.

Amy spends most of her time working remotely from her farm in South Gippsland. With all that headspace, she’s not afraid to get down and dirty with those longer documents. An entire website? Done. The nitty gritty of your new brand voice? Covered. She’ll even write you a Product Disclosure Statement that actually gets read.

Nicholas

NICHOLAS RYAN - SENIOR WRITER

Me in XXVI words
Words are brilliant. I like them. I also like lemon juice, travelling light, cryptozoology, ruminating, 80’s rub-a-dub, Manuka, bioluminescence, wood fires, Spanish nights, and comfortable chairs.

Nick gets to play with words every day, which delights him no end. Openly hostile towards corporate language, Nick loves to inject as much humanity as he can into brand voice, and does so for many of our favourite clients – from Hyundai to Qantas.

Shelley

SHELLEY BROWNBRIDGE - CREATIVE COORDINATOR

Me in XXVI words
I’m your go-to girl, a wrangler of writers, the steward of the studio. What else? Sea-lover, book-reader, crowd-pleaser and an absolutely terrible dancer.

Shelley puts her background in PR and radio marketing to good use at XXVI as she juggles timeframes, budgets and project delivery. As one of our Creative Coordinators, Shelley is all about client liaison. She’s here to help … and invoice you.

Hamish Cargill

Hamish

HAMISH CARGILL - DIRECTOR

Me in XXVI words
I like short sentences. Two line headlines. Horses. I have a fear of touching my Adam’s apple. ‘Affect’ and ‘effect’ confuse me. This can’t be cured.

Hamish runs the show across our Sydney and Melbourne offices, keeping our team challenged, our clients happy and our work exceptional. A strategic thinker who crafts a mean sentence, he’s managed projects for brands like Qantas, NAB, Optus, AAMI, NRMA and Aussie Home Loans – and is always on the hunt for a daring new client.

Kristen

KRISTEN CETRULO - CREATIVE COORDINATOR

Me in XXVI words
I’m a creative brain trapped in an organised person. I (literally) dream about having a pristine, categorised closet attached to an art studio littered with paint.

After growing up in New York, Kristen’s learned a thing or two about keeping her cool under pressure. Which is good news. Because as one of our Creative Coordinators, she manages timelines and budgets – while making sure all our writing projects get exactly where they need to go, when they need to be there.

James

JAMES SCHLOEFFEL - ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR

Me in XXVI words
Writer. Satirist. Spaghetti Bolognaise enthusiast. With a surname that never seems to end. If you’ve always wanted to work with a BIG name, I’m your man.

As Head of Writing, James is the lead for brand voice projects in Melbourne and the go-to guy for those hard-to-crack briefs across the country. He’s an experienced facilitator and trainer too – working with our clients’ marketers, product managers, sales teams and lawyers, to help them communicate more effectively with words.
